Free software downloads, done right
Wixware exists because finding a legitimate download shouldn't mean clicking past five fake "Download Now" buttons first. Our mission is simple: make it fast and safe to find trustworthy Windows software, with clear information about what each app does before you install it.
How we curate our software directory
Every application listed on Wixware is reviewed before it goes live. We write a plain-language description of what the software actually does, link to the developer's own site or official distribution partner, and provide direct 32-bit and 64-bit download links wherever both are available - no interstitial pages, no disguised ads posing as download buttons.
Curated by hand
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live.
No dark patterns
Clear buttons, no disguised or fake download links.
Always free
Browsing and downloading never costs you a thing.
